Casual fans are the least annoying type of fan. They don't talk your ear off about sports, but they do have a surface knowledge of the topic. It differs from other types of sports fans in the fact that they casually follow sports in general. No specific team or sports excites them more than others. The casual fan is the general public that will watch a game if it's playing on TV if they do not have anything else to do at the moment.
