A Farewell To Arms Research Paper

A Farewell To Arms Research Paper

Ernest Hemmingway's A Farewell to Arms: Hemmingway's life during the war and thestory's structure helped him create a simple story but with so much detail. The general idea ofthe book is a boy meets a girl, boy gets the girl, and girl leaves boy. That simple structure wasused for the whole story, which is 41 chapters. I believe that Hemingway managed to write thisstory by his way of life when he was younger.I have heard of Hemingway and the way he livedhis life and I would like to find out if his life had anything to do with the plot. The reason the book was banned was mainly because it is sexually theme, its foullanguage and the way the book is so graphic. I knewthat I was hit and leaned over and put my hand on my knee. My knee wasn't there."
