¨Five score years ago a great American in whose symbolic shadow we stand today signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree is a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice.¨(King) This man was Abraham Lincoln and with the Emancipation Proclamation it became known that slavery was an injustice to those who are different. Again, this was considered morally wrong, not illegal, but wrong. This eventually lead to the ban of slavery in the south. Abraham Lincoln continued a ripple that has been rolling since the beginning of man and Martin Luther King Junior continued from there; leading to the abolishment of slavery.This is later represented in the quote "Injustice ... When writing this Claudia, (girlwithnojob) was probably thinking there wouldn't be much backlash as it was generally a popular opinion, so she thought it was politically correct, but as the quote states, it can't be politically correct unless t is moral, and being moral is being fair and kind to all people. This affects the first part of the quote "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere" because though in this instance Muslims were at fault, people will will believe it is ok to discriminate and they will voice their opinions to other religions, genders, and races. Though some will contradict this statement as children grow the most in moral before the age of five, when they are not in public schooling, people may also not want to spend their tax money on activities that will not improve the nation. The truth is many children do not have a proper role model that teach them important lessons of moral, so it is important that these children at some point at least understand right and wrong, though these students may not become the most peaceful and good moraled people teaching morals in school will
