Not one tribe is the same, we all come from different circumstances and upbringings. Some tribes have thrived some tribes are on the brink of extinction. There are tribes with a strong language and some tribes have basically lost their language all together. The same can be said for authors and poets who write under the subgenre of American Indian Literature, none of them will necessarily have the same story or message. But we are still here and we gain more and more power each year to set our people up for a better future. We have all Native Colleges with thousands of Natives working towards degrees so we can go home and help the tribe.
