The goal of this paper is to research the differences and even the similarities between my very own personal beliefs and those of the Amish culture.



In many cultures, the male gender role is usually associated with physical stamina, aggression, and dominance, while the female gender role is associated with submissiveness, nurturing, and dependence. My beliefs regarding both of these roles are that either can be played out however way they choose to be played. I believe all women have the right to do whatever they choose to with their bodies, act how they may, and choose whichever profession they'd like without being frowned upon or judged by either a man or another woman.
