1. Marginalized Cultural Identities of the Indians Culture identity refers to an individual's consciousness of belonging to a particular culture. It involves learning about and accepting themselves with those who share the same cultural symbols. Due to colonialism, some people from the minority groups are denied a cultural identity by the system that entraps them. Therefore, they are made marginal, neglected and estranged.
